Applying for colleges is an exciting step in your journey. Wesleyan's Admissions Office is eager to help and make this process as simple as possible. Note: Standardized test scores are not required for all students for admission but are required to be considered for Wesleyan's premier scholarships. Students who qualify for premier scholarships will be invited to compete at Scholarship Day in the spring.

Submit a personal statement (250-500 words) explaining why you want to attend a women's college, specifically Wesleyan. Share information about your strengths, skills, and desire to develop as a leader.
Note: All applicants are encouraged to submit optional requirements. Optional requirements will be required if a student does not meet GPA requirements. The admissions office will notify applicants if they are required to submit additional materials for an admission decision.
Once accepted, secure your spot in the incoming class by submitting the admission deposit. All 'Intents' have to be paid by August 5. Residential students will submit a $300 deposit; students approved to commute will submit a $200 deposit. The deposit is non-refundable after May 1. You may deposit by contacting the Business Office (478) 757-5102 or deposit online.
The best way to decide if a college is right for you is to visit the campus, explore the residence halls, academic buildings, and our beautiful 200-acre lakeside grounds. We invite you to schedule a visit to campus virtually or in person to get a feel for the place that so many young women love to call their home away from home. Find out what Wesleyan has to offer, speak with an admissions counselor via webcam, a financial aid staff member over the phone, or transfer, online and nursing students can ask an enrollment coordinator questions via webcam. In the meantime, check-out our virtual videos of campus!
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Choose between three different degree programs: bachelor of arts, bachelor of fine arts, or bachelor of science in nursing.

A women’s college isn’t just about being all women. It’s about all being together as women. I don’t feel any negative pressure, just constant reassurance. I love the sisterhood at Wesleyan. Since day one, I have felt a part of a community.
Wesleyan offers a variety of ways to experience our campus. Schedule a visit in-person to tour the campus and meet with admissions and financial aid staff, connect with us virtually through scheduled zoom chats that fit your schedule or schedule a phone call from a current Wesleyan student.
