January 7-11 | Wesleyan's basketball team faced Agnes Scott in Porter Gym to mark the first home game of the spring semester.
January 14-18| Art professor Dennis Applebee's newest works went on display this week in McCrary Gallery. His exhibition titled Permutations will be on display through February 22.
January 21-25 | Students, faculty, and staff were given the chance to sign the sheetrock this week during the renovation of the second floor of Willet Memorial Library.
January 28 - February 1 | Wesleyan students participated in Stratford Academy's STEAM night.
February 4-8 | Student taking a break between classes.

February 18-22 | Wesleyan Softball takes on Fort Valley State in a double-header Friday afternoon at home.
February 25 - March 1 | Olivia Skiba '21 is an art history major currently working on a set of videos titled Connecting to Wesleyan's Collection that gives viewers a glimpse inside Wesleyan's art collection.
Students and community members gathered for the opening reception of Wesleyan resident artist Michel Levine's exhibition titled Green Screen. During his artist residency at Wesleyan, Levine continued his ongoing exploration of using everyday experiences as a departure point for invented and abstracted narratives. Using monoprint and relief printmaking techniques, Levine developed his imagery and ideas through intuition, combining personal narrative with formal considerations of light, space, color, and shape.

Women's studies students hosted a parade around the Quad this week to celebrate Women's History Month. This program is committed to cultivating well-rounded, passionate women who are responsible leaders in their local, national, and global communities. In order to accomplish this, students have many opportunities to raise awareness, educate, and empower through advocacy and activism events in their classes, on the campus, and in their communities.
The community gathered in Porter Auditorium on Thursday night to enjoy an evening of old sweet songs featuring Georgia music from the Middle Georgia Concert Band.
April 1-5 | The Class of 2019 shared a toast at Bradley House with President Fowler to celebrate their upcoming graduation.
April 8-12 | Campbell-Stripling Writer in-Residence and award winning Georgia author, Janisse Ray spent a week at Wesleyan. While visiting she worked with various students and classes, conducted a community writing workshop, and performed a special reading for the Concert in the Arb event. Her visit was sponsored by the Campbell-Stripling endowment, the Arboretum Committee, and the English Department.
April 22-26 | Wesleyan students participated in a Model Diplomacy US Foreign Policy Simulation. The class role played members of the National Security Council and foreign ambassadors in develop a response to the ongoing crisis in Venezuela.
April 29 - May 3 | Students and faculty enjoyed snuggling with cute baby animals as a stress reliever in preparation for finals.

Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1-5PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10AM-2PM.
