Wesleyan maintains cooperative agreements through the Institute for the International Education of Students (IES), the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS), and the Council for International Educational Exchange (CIEE), which provide access to a wide range of institutionally approved international colleges and universities in more than 40 countries including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Japan, China, Australia, Austria, and Argentina.
In addition to these cooperative agreements, Wesleyan College has direct exchange agreements with a network of five colleges in Northern Ireland and with the following schools:
From time to time, Wesleyan faculty lead special study groups to various countries such as Greece, Russia, Italy, China, Guatemala, and Great Britain. And every summer, faculty organize valuable travel opportunities inside the United States for students. Students may apply for financial aid and scholarships to assist with the cost of studying abroad. The Royal Endowed Scholarship for Study Abroad is available to students who plan to study with a Wesleyan-led program, a Wesleyan direct exchange program, or a consortium program.
