Institutional Statement

Wesleyan College complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, as Amended. The Registrar should be consulted for details and procedures.

Every effort is made to insure the accuracy of information presented in this catalogue. The contents should be considered advisory only and not regarded as an irrevocable contract. The College reserves the right to alter or change requirements, fees, course offerings, or other specified policies at any time.

Advisors are available to assist the student in the arrangement of her program, but responsibility for acquainting herself with regulations and fulfilling all requirements for degrees rests with the individual student.

Wesleyan College Gender-specific Language Policy

As the first women's college in the world, Wesleyan College will maintain its use of women-centered language to reflect both our heritage and our mission. We recognize that not all of our constituents identify with feminine pronouns, and, therefore, faculty and staff will make all efforts to be respectful of individuals’ pronoun and name preferences.

Accreditations and Memberships

Wesleyan College is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the baccalaureate degree and the masters degree. Wesleyan is also accredited by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. 

The Wesleyan College Bachelor of Science in Nursing program has Full Approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing. The baccalaureate degree in nursing program at Wesleyan College is accredited by Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (https://www.aacnnursing.org/ccne-accreditation).

Calendar of Events

Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1-5PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10AM-2PM.

NCAA Division III Athletics

Wesleyan College is home to five NCAA Division III sports: soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and softball. In addition, we offer an award-winning Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Equestrian program.
