My primary research focuses on international business in Eastern Europe, gender issues in business communication, and marketing strategies for small businesses. 

Dr. Meyer, an international professor and scholar, has been a Fulbright professor at the flagship university of Bulgaria and a Fulbright-Hayes Scholar to southeast Asia conducting research in small business entrepreneurship. Her undergraduate and graduate instruction at Wesleyan focuses on management, marketing, policy and marketing communication. Named twice as the recipient of the prestigious Ann Munck Excellence in Teaching Award, she involves her students in her experiential learning format for her classes.
