Recycling on the Wesleyan Campus
The Wesleyan campus community has adopted procedures to encourage greater participation in recycling by placing sorting receptacles for paper, plastic and aluminum on each floor of the residence halls and in every building on campus. The Willet Memorial Library, Academic Center, classrooms and administration offices also have receptacles for recycling available in the buildings.
We continue to expand our recycling program by recycling aluminum, plastic, paper, and cardboard. This has resulted in a reduction of solid waste sent to the landfill. Waste produced by the horses at our Equestrian Center is now sent for composting rather than being taken to the landfill.
Wesleyan College is privileged to steward many arts and cultural events and share them with the community. Most are free and open to the public. Wesleyan art galleries are open M-F 1:30 – 5:00 PM and on Wesleyan Market Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.View More
